If you would like to make such a request you may find it easiest to complete the College's SAR form, available as a Word or pdf document, and return it to data.protection@caths.cam.ac.uk. You may also simply send us a letter or email outlining your request. The College will endeavour to respond to your request promptly and efficiently, and no later than one month after receiving your request once it has received proof of your identity.
Proof of identity: we require proof of identity before we can disclose personal data. Examples of proofs of identity that we will accept are a copy of two documents including your birth certificate, passport, driving licence, official letter addressed to you at your address, e.g. bank statement, or council tax bill. The documents should show your name, date of birth and address. If you have changed your name, please supply relevant documents evidencing the change.
There is no fee for this service.
Please note, if you are requesting access to, or copies of, CCTV images, you are requested to contact the Head Porter as soon as possible, as footage is only retained for 45 days. The College's CCTV policy gives further details.
