Can I leave my luggage?
Overnight guests can leave luggage at the Porters’ Lodge if wishing to explore Cambridge for the day. However, the College can accept no responsibility for belongings left unattended.
Is there any parking at the College?
There is no parking available at St Catharine’s, however guests can be dropped off in front of the Porters’ Lodge. The nearest public car park to College is the Grand Arcade (formerly Lion Yard). We strongly recommend making use of the Park and Ride facilities around the outskirts of the City during busy periods, as the centre of Cambridge can become difficult to access.

Breakfast has a wide selection of food available and will cater for most dietary needs. If you are attending a lunch or dinner in College then please notify the organiser well in advance and we will happily cater for these.
What is the provision for disabled facilities?
There is disabled access to all of our main communal areas of College. We have 2 accessible bedrooms that can be made available to guests out of term time.
Are children allowed to stay at St Catharine’s?
We do not allow persons under the age of 16 to stay on site. Westminster College, Newnham College and Murray Edwards College do offer this service.
Can I smoke in College?
The whole of the St Catharine's site, including the Bar, bedrooms and all outside spaces, is non-smoking. If you wish to smoke, please leave the College site.
