St Catharine's College once again held its annual photography competition for all of its Members, and we were impressed with the quality of the entries! The theme this year was "People of St Catharine's".
Judged by Sir Mark and Lady Welland, the winner this year was First Year Student Emma Hide, who took this photo in the Sherlock Library (a familiar scene for any St Catharine's student):
In second place, second year student Hebe Hunter-Gordon submitted this image of St Catharine's Fellow Dr Jessica Gwynne, which was taken as part of the International Women's Day celebrations at the College back in March:
The College Communications Officer Lauren Thomas then came third with a photo of Fellow Commoner Dr Glen Cavaliero:
PhD student Frances St George-Hyslop was then highly commended for this snowy photo showing someone appearing behind the College gates:
Thank you to everyone who entered and made the judging extremely difficult! We look forward to next year!
