The inaugural St Catharine's MCR Symposium

Thursday 25 February 2016

The College will host its first ever Graduate Symposium in the McGrath Centre on Saturday 27 February between 9am and 5pm. All are welcome to attend on the day.

This Symposium is a student-run event comprising sessions on the arts, sciences and humanities. Each session will begin with a talk by a keynote speaker, followed by students presenting their research. In addition to this there will be a poster session.

Fellows of the College scheduled to give keynote speeches include Dr Joanne Harris (2012), Professor Peter Barnes (1966), Dr Gilly Carr (2006) and Mrs Rona Fairhead (2012).

The Symposium will be a great opportunity to celebrate the breadth and depth of research conducted by the College’s graduate students. For those interested, you may follow the day’s events via Twitter using the hashtag #CatzSymposium or on the MCR’s Twitter page.
