Master of St Catharine’s begins new University role

On 1 January 2019, Master of St Catharine’s, Professor Sir Mark Welland, started his new role as Director of the Maxwell Centre, the hub for academia-industry interactions and collaborative research in physical sciences and technology at the University of Cambridge.

Speaking of this University role, Sir Mark said “The Maxwell Centre is an extraordinary mixture of research, commercial engagement, innovation, and cross-university collaboration. I am truly excited to be a part of this activity and look forward to further enhancing the impact of the Centre for all.”.
