Dr Joanna Krupka

Joanna Krupka is a Research Associate at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute. Her research focuses on applying genomics, computational biology, and systems biology to study immunity and RNA biology, with a particular emphasis on B-cell malignancies. Currently, she is developing an ultrasensitive computational assay for detecting minimal residual disease in lymphoma patients using liquid biopsy.

Joanna completed her medical degree at the Medical University of Warsaw. She was subsequently awarded a Cancer Research UK Clinical Training Fellowship to pursue a PhD in Haematology at Gonville and Caius College under the supervision of Dr Daniel Hodson and Dr Shamith Samarajiwa. In 2023, she was selected as the EHA-EMBL/EBI Computational Biology Training in Haematology Scholar.
