Richard Chapling did his undergraduate at Trinity College, and his PhD is on analysis of the Schrödinger–Coulomb equations and related topics. His research interests include integration, and exact and closed-form solutions to problems in Mathematical Physics. Currently his focus is on undergraduate teaching, with emphasis on IA and IB courses in both Pure and Applied Mathematics. He is also interested in the history of Mathematics, with a special interest in G H Hardy. Outside teaching his passions include cricket, naval history, and ramen.
