Nicola Robert (BA MSc FCA) joined St Catharine’s in June 2019 as Bursar and is responsible for the financial management of the College. With a career including Finance Director and Board roles, she has led finance, operational and administrative functions in the private and charity sectors. From 2014–19 Nicola was Endowment Manager at Gonville & Caius College with responsibility for investments, estates strategy, accommodation, archives and data protection. Before Caius she was a charity Finance Director, a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young and a Finance and IT Manager for SWIFT in Brussels (provider of a secure network for international bank transfers). Nicola studied History at Emmanuel College and has a Masters in Charity Accounting and Financial Management from Bayes Business School. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
In addition to her College role, Nicola sits on the Cambridge University Audit Committee, The Gates Cambridge Investment Committee and the Cambridge Colleges Federated Pension Scheme Investment Committee.
