Volcanologist
I read Natural Sciences at St Catharine's (1983-6), then studied for a PhD (1986-90), specialising in volcanology. I was subsequently a Research Fellow and then Fellow of St Catharine's from 1989-2006. In 2006, I moved to the University of Oxford.
