St Catharine’s is once again celebrating our students’ successes in University of Cambridge examinations. After an exceptional set of results in 2022, St Catharine’s undergraduates continued to rank highly in data published by the University in 2024 for examinations sat in 2022–23 and 2023–24.
Dr Holly Canuto (2020), Senior Tutor at St Catharine’s, commented:
“On behalf of everyone at St Catharine’s, I am thrilled to congratulate our students on their examination results. Our undergraduates have now been ranked sixth highest across all Cambridge Colleges for two years in a row based on the proportion who were awarded First Class results. Before the new academic year gets underway in October, it is important for us to pause and reflect on this track record of academic excellence.
“These results underscore the importance of our commitment to providing academic, pastoral and financial support so our students can make the most of their time at Cambridge, whether that’s across their studies or extracurricular interests. I am particularly proud that our students achieved such outstanding results alongside bringing home intercollegiate cup wins in hockey, football, skiing and badminton.”

Shreya Tewari, a second-year Law undergraduate who was elected Academic Officer for the Junior Combination Room Committee representing undergraduates at St Catharine's, commented:
"At Catz, there’s a wonderfully supportive atmosphere that truly stands out during exam season. Students come together for group study sessions or to help each other with revision, fostering a real sense of community. The College goes the extra mile to maintain a healthy working environment, providing refreshments during Tea@3 events to give everyone a chance to take breaks and recharge. These thoughtful efforts make a real difference, making the exam period feel less stressful and much more manageable!"
