Rugby
Alice Yau, a fourth-year medical student at St Catharine's, was named Player of the Match by the Cambridge University Rugby Union women's second team (known as the Tigers) after a tough match against Birmingham University on 9 November (final score 39-5 to the opposition). The Tigers captain described Alice as “invaluable to the team” who “makes consistent and reliable tackles, and her skills keep improving”. (CURUFC)
Hockey
The College’s mixed team fared brilliantly in a double-header on 14 November. The team delivered a convincing 7-1 victory against a combined Caius-Girton team, before going on to beat Jesus College in a penalty shuffle. (The Kittbag)
Football
The men’s first team recorded a hard-fought 1-1 result against Trinity College on 12 November. Trinity is top of the table in Division 2 and St Catharine’s is the only team not to have lost to them this season. (Cambridge University Association Football League - Division 2)
The men's second team continues to take Division 4 by storm and is currently top of the table, having won three games and losing only to CUCE (a team of Chinese football lovers from across the University of Cambridge). (Cambridge University Association Football League - Division 4)
