The Finance Department at St Catharine's is responsible for billing students for University and College fees and all College related charges, including accommodation. Please see below for information and resources in connection with student bills.
What to expect: College & Fee Bills
Fees are set by the University depending on your course and fee status, and are collected by St Catharine's on the University's behalf. We will send you a Fee Bill to collect these fees, in September for non-home students, and early October for students classed as home. To facilitate fee billing, all new students are asked to submit sponsorship letters by 1 September each year.
In addition, at the same time students will also receive their College Bill, which may include the following:
- Accommodation (Undergraduate or Postgraduate Students): For all students living in College accommodation as per their occupancy agreement
- PAT Testing: For all students in College accommodation.
- Caution Money: For all students upon matriculation.
- MCR Subscription: For all postgraduate members of the College and fourth-year undergraduates who elect membership.
- JCR Subscription:For all undergraduate members of the College.
- Facilities Charge: For postgraduate students not living in College accommodation.
- Fines: Deans fines, fines for damage to accommodation, etc.
