Economics Society Dinner

On behalf of the Economics, Land Economy and Management Fellows of St Catharine’s, we are delighted to invite you to the annual St Catharine’s Economics Society Dinner, to be held in College on Friday 8 November 2024.

The event will begin with a panel discussion and Q&A in the McGrath Centre at 6 pm, lasting approximately one hour. The speakers will discuss their field of work, and describe their career choices since leaving St Catharine’s before taking questions from the audience. The speakers are: 

Martin Reeves (1988, Economics) - Head of Global High Yield at L&G

Yumian Lu (2005, Economics) – Partner, New Horizon Global Advisory 

Noel Cochrane (2005, Land Economy) - Managing Director - Head of Official Institutions, European Rates Sales, Barclays Capital

A drinks reception will be held in the McGrath Centre at 7 pm. It will be followed by a dinner in Hall at 7:30 pm. The dress code is lounge suit or smart attire.
